3K Solutions builds and maintains fibre optic infrastructure for carrier networks, data centers, municipal systems, utilities, renewable energy sites, and pipeline monitoring systems. The work stays consistent throughout: outside plant and inside plant construction, splicing, testing, and commissioning, applied wherever a given project calls for it.
Our Story
3K Solutions didn't start with a big office, a large fleet, or a long list of clients. It started with a decision to build something of our own.
2021
In 2021, our founder, Munir Vara, started a small fibre optic splicing contracting company after working in telecommunications since 2016. The goal was simple: build a company around quality workmanship, reliability, and doing things the right way.
2022
In 2022, Molly joined the business. As the work grew, so did the team, our capabilities, and our ambitions. We began building a network of trusted contractors and partners who could help us take on work beyond fibre splicing — particularly civil construction and specialized telecommunications projects.
2023
In 2023, we brought everything together under one name: 3K Solutions.
What started as a small splicing operation gradually became a telecommunications construction company capable of managing projects from start to finish.
Today
Today, our work spans brownfield and greenfield construction, multi-unit residential installations, small cell deployments, and custom outside and inside plant builds. We can coordinate the civil work, manage the installation, complete the fibre work, testing, commissioning, and closeout — bringing the different pieces of a project together under one team.
Our contractor network has become an important part of that model. We work with experienced civil, electrical, drilling, and other specialized contractors when a project requires it, while keeping project coordination, quality, communication, and accountability under 3K Solutions.
As we've grown, we've worked across increasingly complex projects and expanded our presence beyond Alberta. But our approach hasn't changed.
We're still hands-on. We stay involved in our projects, communicate directly with our customers and field teams, and take pride in the details that can often get overlooked. We believe a successful project isn't just about installing fibre — it's about planning properly, working safely, respecting the property, solving problems in the field, and leaving behind work we're proud to put our name on.
From a small splicing company to a growing telecommunications construction team, 3K Solutions has been built one project, one relationship, and one crew at a time.
