Overview

Connectivity for the systems that run the grid.

Electric utilities, substations, and renewable energy facilities run on fibre connectivity between SCADA systems, protective relays, and control centers. We build the physical fibre infrastructure connecting these systems.

Substation Fibre Connectivity

Substations communicate constantly with a utility's centralized control center: real-time grid data going out, control signals coming back. That link runs over dedicated fibre rather than shared network infrastructure, since a substation can't depend on a connection shared with other traffic.

SCADA Communications Infrastructure

SCADA — supervisory control and data acquisition — is how utilities monitor and control equipment such as protective relays and switching devices from a central location instead of stationing staff at every site. Fibre is the standard medium for that communication, given the reliability and bandwidth it holds over utility distances.

Underground & Aerial Installation

Utility fibre runs in whichever format suits a given corridor. The right choice comes down to the route itself — what infrastructure already exists and what the site conditions along the way allow.

Aerial — sharing space on existing utility poles.

Underground — sharing trenches or conduit with other utility infrastructure.

Renewable Facility Connectivity

Wind and solar facilities depend on fibre linking inverters, turbine controllers, monitoring equipment, and the site's control systems — letting operators monitor performance and respond to issues across a footprint that can span a large physical area.
